Cusco World Rally: 2012 APRC Round 3 Australia

RW12-SS3_ABamba-(2).jpgRound 3 of the 2012 FIA Asia Pacific Rally "International Rally of Queensland" is scheduled to take place this week.

The PROTON R3 CUSCO Rally Team had missed the previous bout but will be planning to participate in full force with its original members from the season opener. The team will once again pilot three Proton Satria Neo machines.

The Junior cup title holder Team Akira Bamba and Takahiro Yasui experienced a hearbreaking forfeit at the first round, and will be battling against their teammate/rival Karamjit Singh in the 2WD Class.

Karamjit Singh (pictured left) is the reigning 2WD APRC Champion in the Proton Satria Neo. Kenneth Koh (pictured Right) will be accompanying the veteran Singh as a new and upcoming driver.

Once again, the Cusco Proton Satria Neo Group N machines are contracted to be used by several private teams - New Zealand's Michael Young, and K's World Rally Team Nihei Ito.
