2024 FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN Teamed Up With CUSCO Racing
CUSCO Racing will be teaming up with 2023 WRC World Champion Kalle Rovanperä as he plans to return to the opening round of 2024 FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN (FDJ) on April 6-7 at Fuji Speedway.
Rovanperä, who debuted with the dominant victory at the second round of FDJ in Ebisu last year, and continue on to claim the overall second place at the Okayama round, will once again pilot the "Red Bull GR COROLLA" under the banner of "KR69 CUSCO Racing."
CUSCO Racing, its slogan "Create And Craft Proven Masterpiece From The Extreme Motorsports World," will continue to manage the team operations for "KR69 CUSCO Racing" and maintain the "Red Bull GR COROLLA." (CUSCO Racing is a racing division of Carrosser Co., Ltd., Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, President Tsutomu Nagase).
CUSCO Racing will continue supporting WRC World champion, Kalle Rovanperä, and maintaining "Red Bull GR COROLLA" at the highest level.

Kalle Rovanperä, raised by his father, former WRC driver Harri Rovanperä, began his rally career at the age of 12. He entered the WRC Top Category with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team in 2020. He has claimed the WRC World Champion status at the age of 22 with 6 victories in the 2022 season, and defending the Championship title in 2023.
Throughout the each years, he has actively participated in drift competitions, joining the Drift Masters European Championship (DMEC) since 2022 and making spot appearances in FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN since 2023.
Carrosser Co., Ltd., has been involved in the development, design, and production of numerous competition vehicles and parts. We continued competing in various events such as races, rallies, dirt trials, and gymkhanas. CUSCO Racing entered FDJ in 2020, and in 2023 season, the team's 14-year-old drift driver, Daichi Minowa, advanced to the title battle, showcasing the team's high level technical expertise and teamwork.
FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN, originated from "FORMULA DRIFT" in USA, 2004.
The competition has been held in Japan since 2014, featuring six rounds at prominent circuits such as Fuji Speedway, Okayama International Circuit, and The Drift Mecca, Ebisu Circuit. The season opener at Fuji Speedway, the first time in FDJ history, will be accompanied by a big event titled "Fuji Xtreme Day with Formula Drift Japan" on the final's day.
