CUSCO RACING 2012 PROFESSIONAL RALLY ANNOUNCEMENT
CARROSSER Co. Ltd. (Gunma Prefecture, Japan ) CEO Tsutomu Nagase; official announcement of the participation the 2012 Team CUSCO Racing season in the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) and Japan Rally Championship (JRC).

The motorsport involvement for the season is scheduled to be a concurrent participation with the N4 Class of the Asia Cup in the APRC, along with a joint project with the Proton Motorsports Division Satria Neo in the 2WD category. An additional support for a private team in the Junior Cup Series has also been confirmed.
A Subaru Impreza STi will make its debut in the JRC Series as well as the new Toyota 86 in the JN3 Class. Much like the 2011 season, the Proton Satria Neo machines will continue their entries in the JN3 Class.

Various plans of contracting new and veteran rally drivers will be established with the latest racing products being developed for newly manufactured vehicles. Carrosser is dedicated to producing innovative and new racing components to endorse motorsports and the supporting media to the global field.

2012 Rally Season Participant Details
- Asia Pacific Rally Championships (APRC)
Yuya Sumiyama challenges the Asia Cup title once again in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. Sumiyama obtained the title in 2010, and finished 2nd in 2011.

The reigning APRC Junior Cup Champion Akira Bamba and the 2WD champ Karamjit Singh are both confirmed to pilot the Proton R3 as the Proton/CUSCO Rally Team. These champions will be defending their titles for the new season.

The 3rd place JN3 Class finisher Hiroshi Yanagisawa and the JN3 champion Shuhei Muta will be both competing in the JN4 Class , each in a Subaru Impreza. The vehicles will also be used by Yuya Sumiyama as a research and development test machine.
Carrosser has also been developing a Toyota 86 for the JN3 class rally, piloted by the veteran 2008 FIA African Rally Champion Hideaki Miyoshi. Due to the ongoing development and rally testing, the vehicle is planned to be entered mid-season. The Proton Satria Neo machines will also be in full participation, with Shintaro Meiji in the CUSCO Junior Team.

Customer Program
Carrosser is dedicated to providing full motorsport support to the rally participants, whether a private or veteran works team in the APRC Junior Cup from vehicle package plans, engineering, and technical aid. There are currently numerous satellite teams in the Japan Rally Circuit that are engaged to this motorsport, whom which each are capable of winning the series title.
