2014 CUSCO RACING PROFESSIONAL RALLY ANNOUNCEMENT
CARROSSER Co. Ltd. (Gunma Prefecture, Japan ) CEO Tsutomu Nagase; official announcement of the participation the 2014 Team CUSCO Racing season in the FIA sanctioned Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) and Japan Rally Championship (JRC).
The participation in the Asia Pacific Rally Championships (APRC) is centralized around the Asia Cup with several teams as well as custom driver programs enlisted in the 2WD Junior Cup series.
The JN6 Class Subaru WRX STi will be entered in the Japan Rally Championships (JRC) program with an entirely new lineup of drivers as well as our latest procurement of a Subaru BRZ chassis for the JN4 tarmac rally class.
This season's rally program focuses on heightening global motorsports interest with more involvement with the media while letting the veteran drivers serve as the benchmark for the new comers. Further emphasis on broadening the motorsports chassis development field as well as product R&D is planned to be implemented alongside the motorsport program.

Representing CUSCO RACING, Yuya Sumiyama confirms entry into three rounds of the Asia Cup, noted in confidence as the most promising ace driver of the team. Michael Young (New Zealand) and the veteran Indian rally sensation Sanjay Takle (India) are confirmed entry in Carrosser's Customer Driver Program, to be fully supported by CUSCO RACING.

Much of the driver/co-driver roster from 2013 remains the same this season with Yuya Sumiyama assigned as the main driver. Additionally, rising stars Shuhei Muta and Genki Takeuchi has joined the ranks of the JN6 Class gravel rally.
With such experienced drivers as Sumiyama (main) and Yanagiswa (spot) previously laying the groundwork of the sport, a promising new generation of young drivers are able to be cultivated to the sport.
Alongside the current program, a fully prepped Subaru BRZ is planned entry into the JN4 tarmac round.

Carrosser / Cusco plans on participating in a variety of motorsports activities such as rally support program, gymkhana, dirt trial, super taikyu, grassroots racing (street legal vehicle races, 86/BRZ one-make) throughout the season. These activities are dedicated to promoting motorsports for the fans and enthusiasts all over the world.
