2013 All Japan Dirt Trials Rd 5: Arai Leaps into Series Points Leader in the SA2 Class!
The 5th round of the 2013 All Japan Dirt Trials labeled as "2013 Touhoku Dirt Trial in Kiriyanai" took place on July 28th, in the Aomori Prefecture Kiriyanai Motorsports Park.
The first race day was filled with rain resulting in wet road surface conditions however, Arai with his new model Yokohama Tires manages to get hold of the top time for the 1st heat. Arai didnt succeed in achieving his prospected time for the 2nd heat but because of his exceptional performance from the previous heat, he wins the round as top podium finisher. This is Arai's third consecutive win at this Kiriyanai stage and dramatically increases his chances of becoming the series champ.
